New York Rec & Social Club, a vibrant nightlife establishment, will open at Turning Stone Casino Resort on December 18. Concurrent with this reveal, the sports betting lounge is being relocated and rebranded. Formerly Lava Nightclub in the casino’s Exit 33 area is now a multipurpose space thanks to the new enterprise.
With its seamless integration of sports betting and a lounge vibe, NY Rec & Social Club seeks to reinvent the casino experience. Equipped with sixty ultra-high definition televisions, the location guarantees an engaging sports viewing experience. Games including shuffleboard, darts, pool, and foosball are available in addition to standard sportsbook features. Additionally, table games like craps and blackjack will be available for play in the 200-seat lounge.
The main bar, which has crystal chandeliers hanging over it to provide a sense of luxury, will offer specialty drinks in addition to the inventive game day cuisine that Chef de Cuisine Dustin Tuthill has prepared.
The Oneida Indian Nation is rebranding Turning Stone, YBR Casino in Chittenango, and Point Place Casino in Bridgeport all at the same time. With the sportsbooks using the TS Sports identity, the current collaboration with Caesar’s Sports, which started in 2019, comes to an end.
The gameplay and wager types stay the same, but players will switch from Caesar’s rewards systems to TS Sports’. The goal of the change is to keep the casino as the top choice for sports fans while also improving the overall gaming experience.
The CEO of Turning Stone Enterprises, Ray Halbritter, thanked Caesar’s for their cooperation and emphasized how the introduction of TS Sports represents a change in fan experiences and venues.
Part of Turning Stone’s ambitious $370 million expansion plan that was unveiled earlier this year is the new NY Rec & Social Club. The most major extension in Turning Stone’s 30-year history, this expansive project features a new hotel, an enlarged convention center, and extra eating and entertainment venues.
