Stats Perform Expands Reach with Scottish Football Streaming Deal

A ground-breaking deal has been struck by Stats Perform to provide live video feeds of Scottish football to foreign sportsbooks located outside of the United Kingdom. This is the first time the supplier will broadcast Scottish football content worldwide, reaching a larger audience for both men’s and women’s elite fixtures.

This collaboration includes the Women’s Premier League in addition to the Scottish Premiership, Championship, and League One. Notable contests like the Scottish League Cup, SPFL Trust Trophy, and SWPL Cup are also included. The length of the contract is unknown, however all games will be webcast via Stats Perform’s Bet LiveStreams service.

A Milestone for Scottish Football

Neil Doncaster, SPFL Group chief executive, emphasized the significance of this collaboration, saying it enables fans to engage with “a wealth of innovation” in sports betting. Doncaster added, “Stats Perform’s team and technologies are trusted by top sports federations globally, as well as billions of fans. Their experience as pioneers of live sports streaming for licensed sportsbooks means our fans also tap into a wealth of innovation in that world.”

Fiona McIntyre, SWPL managing director, shared her enthusiasm for the deal, noting it’s a major step forward for women’s football in Scotland. “This partnership represents an innovative step and another milestone for the SWPL. It is the first partnership of its kind in respect of women’s football in Scotland. We are delighted to be working with Stats Perform,” she said.

Andrew Ashenden, Stats Perform’s chief betting officer, highlighted the value this agreement adds to their Bet LiveStreams offering. “The SPFL group, with SPFL and SWPL competitions, brings another heavyweight set of well-timed, high-octane football betting rights into our package. Its teams, players and historic rivalries are very popular with global fans,” Ashenden stated. He further explained that the inclusion of these competitions aligns perfectly with their existing portfolio, which already features top-tier leagues from England, Spain, Italy, and more.

Stats Perform continues to expand its global reach, partnering with several leading football leagues and organizations worldwide. Their portfolio already includes rights to major leagues like the English Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, and Bundesliga. Beyond football, they are strengthening their presence in other sports, recently extending their partnership with the Women’s Tennis Association until 2030. Additionally, they announced a significant deal with the International Cricket Council in June.
