Sky Racing World has announced the addition of New Zealand Harness racing to its content inventory. The product went live on October 12th and is currently broadcast across North America, with the added benefit of wagering pools being merged via PGI into NSW-TAB host pools.
The New Zealand Harness product will be carried on the Sky Racing World Harness channel, which also features Australian Harness racing, offering bettors access to elite Southern Hemisphere Harness racing six nights a week. For the first time, the North American Harness Racing community will be able to watch and gamble on the long-honored New Zealand Trotting Cup on Monday, November 7th, at Addington Raceway in Christchurch.
Races will be held at about 30 different tracks across the country, including Addington, Cambridge, Omaru, and Manawatu. There will be four or five sessions every week, usually on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays between 6 p.m. and 4 a.m. EST.
There will be a variety of wagering bag types available, including Win, Place, Exacta, Quinella, Daily Double, Trifecta, Superfecta, Omni, Pick 3, and Pick 4.
