The casino’s buffet section, which has lain dormant since the pandemic forced its closure in 2020, is currently bustling with activity as construction crews carefully reshape the 14,000 square foot area. This renovated facility is expected to be finished by July, in time for the Summer Olympics, and promises a show that will be unmatched.
Experience the opulence of the Gridiron Sports Bar and Lounge, which has an enormous high-definition LED video wall measuring 53 feet by 14 feet. Immersion is ensured by a 27-seat central bar with 24 mounted 70-inch TVs, 3 more LED video displays, and 30 other 70-inch televisions strewn around guest seats. The appeal is further enhanced with a newly designed kitchen, two digital bays with Top Golf swing rooms, and space for 157 people.
A 21-by-12-foot LED video wall is unveiled in the Locker Room/banquet area, which can hold up to 100 people for private viewing parties and activities related to sports and groups. The VIP lounge offers a private bar, lounge, and facilities for an elevated hospitality experience, catering only to River Spirit’s most exclusive Players Club members.
Should sports betting gain legal traction in Oklahoma, the 53-foot LED screen will seamlessly house a sportsbook. Pat Crofts, CEO of Muscogee Nation Gaming Enterprises, exclaims, “We will be ready. Leading the charge in this architectural transformation is I-5 Design Build, a Washington-based firm with a stellar track record of over 125 entertainment property projects, including various Native American casino-resorts. Crofts praises the firm, stating, “I-5 Design Build has successfully completed multiple remodel, refurbishment, and expansion projects for the Muscogee Creek Nation Casinos, on time and on budget with minimal disruption to existing operations.”
The Gridiron Sports Bar is just one example of how the casino is dedicated to improving visitor experiences. Repurposing the current Scoreboard sports bar for a new guest amenity is one of the other initiatives, which promises a comprehensive entertainment package.
