Daily fantasy sports (DFS) operator PrizePicks has secured a license to operate in New Hampshire, marking its entry into the state as its 35th market across the United States. This expansion signifies a significant milestone for PrizePicks, further solidifying its position in the DFS industry.
Adam Packer, Senior Vice President of Legal & Compliance at PrizePicks, expressed enthusiasm about the development. “We are thrilled to be able to offer our skill-based fantasy offering to sports fans throughout the Granite State,” Packer remarked. He also extended gratitude to the New Hampshire Lottery Commission for their “thoughtful collaboration.”
PrizePicks continues to innovate within the fantasy sports realm with its unique offerings. Among these is Arena, a peer-to-peer game where players compete directly against each other for prizes. Arena organizes participants into groups based on their entries, entry fees, and experience levels.
Nine jurisdictions have seen increased use of Arena since its January introduction. More than 100,000 players have produced almost two million lineups for the game, demonstrating its increasing popularity.
PrizePicks highlights its dedication to ethical gaming education as it grows its reach. As it expands into new areas, this focus is still crucial.
Apart from the expansion of its operations, PrizePicks has declared a noteworthy transition in its leadership. Blizzard Entertainment’s former president Mike Ybarra will take over as the company’s new CEO. Ybarra will take over as the new member of the PrizePicks Board, replacing Adam Wexler, who will become the Executive Chairman.
