PrizePicks has introduced a new wave of social tools to its daily fantasy sports (DFS) app, aiming to make the experience more interactive and community-driven. The latest update puts social engagement at the heart of gameplay, giving users a chance to connect, compete, and celebrate wins together — all inside the app.
Good to Know
The centerpiece of the new update is The Feed, a built-in social platform designed to let players share lineups, see what others are picking, and respond in real time — much like social media interactions. From friendly reactions to celebrity picks, the feature brings DFS competition into a shared community space.
Dylan Cooper, Senior Vice President of Product at PrizePicks, said:
“We’re advancing the daily fantasy sports world forward into its next phase, blending how fans socialise online with how they root for their favorite players on gameday.”
PrizePicks has been steadily reshaping how fantasy sports apps operate. The player profile feature, which arrived earlier this year, gives users a snapshot of their performance history and engagement level. Combined with the new Feed, the platform feels more personal — and more connected — than before.
“These social features create an interactive experience that allows players to build lineups, ride with their favorite celebrities and flex their knowledge with their friends, all within the PrizePicks app,” Cooper added.
The move follows a series of strategic updates from the Atlanta-based operator, including its pivot to the peer-to-peer Arena format during the summer. That shift aligned PrizePicks more closely with community-driven fantasy play, potentially appealing to regulators who prefer user-versus-user dynamics over traditional house-based contests.
PrizePicks’ focus on social features also comes as its ownership evolves. Czech lottery giant Allwyn recently acquired a majority stake in PrizePicks, highlighting the operator’s growing international appeal and potential to scale further across regulated markets.
