Penn Entertainment is set to transform eight of its retail sportsbooks into ESPN Bet branded locations. This rebranding initiative aims to strengthen brand connections and create significant cross-sell opportunities between the casino and ESPN Bet.
The rebranded ESPN Bet sportsbooks will include high-profile locations such as Hollywood Casino at Kansas Speedway, L’Auberge Casino and Hotel Baton Rouge in Louisiana, and Plainridge Park Casino in Massachusetts. These venues are expected to unveil their new branding in August 2024.
Further expansion will see Hollywood Casino Columbus and Hollywood Casino Toledo in Ohio, Hollywood Casino Perryville in Maryland, as well as L’Auberge Casino Resort Lake Charles and Margaritaville Resort Casino Bossier City in Louisiana, join the ESPN Bet family in September 2024.
The rebranding initiative follows the debut of the first ESPN Bet retail sportsbook at Hollywood Casino at Greektown in Detroit earlier this year. Mike Morrison, VP of ESPN Bet and Fantasy, expressed enthusiasm about the launch, stating, “We’re thrilled to open the first ESPN Bet retail location in Detroit and become part of a community of deeply passionate sports fans. We want fans to come embrace a first-class betting experience and we’re excited to showcase the ESPN Bet brand in a contemporary space.”
Each rebranded ESPN Bet sportsbook will boast premium viewing areas and diverse dining options, designed to elevate the fan experience. These features aim to provide an exceptional environment for sports enthusiasts to enjoy live games and place bets.
