For the 2026 fiscal year to date, North Carolina’s sports betting handle hit $1.53 billion, with $1.38 billion returned to players as winnings. That leaves $143.6 million in gross revenue and roughly $25.8 million in tax income.
Compared to September 2024, total wagers rose 19.2%, though gross wagering revenue dipped 4.7% from last year’s $70.1 million.
