May’s gross iGaming and sports betting earnings for Michigan’s commercial and tribal operators came to a total of $239.5 million. From April, there has been a 2% rise. $198.6 million was made via iGaming, while $40.9 million was made from gross sports betting.

Progressing Consistently in Adjusted Gross Receipts

Twenty-six million dollars was the total adjusted gross revenues (AGR). $28.1 million was added by online sports betting, while $178.7 million came from iGaming. For iGaming and online sports betting, these numbers show increases of 2.6% and 1.2%, respectively, over the previous month. Sports betting had an increase in AGR of 27.7%, while iGaming saw an increase of 31.9% from May 2023.

However, the online sports betting handle was $343.7 million, down by 13.9% from April. Despite this drop, operators reported submitting $38.8 million in taxes and payments to the State of Michigan. This substantial contribution underscores the growing economic impact of iGaming and sports betting in the state.
