Major League Baseball (MLB), the oldest and most prestigious sports league in the world with its headquarters in New York, has announced a new multi-year partnership with FanDuel, a leading sports-tech entertainment firm also based in the city.
MLB now has an official betting partner in the form of FanDuel’s top sportsbook. FanDuel will be permitted, in accordance with the terms of the agreement, to use the official MLB brand and category marks equally throughout its products, including the FanDuel Sportsbook, Daily Fantasy, and FanDuel Faceoff platforms, as well as in its marketing initiatives.
Tthe operator has already worked with Major League Baseball as a recognized gambling operator since 2019.
The firm will stream the Free Game of the Day on MLB.TV via FanDuel’s sportsbook application and on FanDuel’s OTT platform FanDuel+ for this new baseball season to provide fans closer viewing and wagering possibilities.
The partnership will also give MLB and FanDuel additional opportunities to work together on initiatives for other FanDuel and MLB platform sponsor partners, as well as thrill fans with the newest sports betting product enhancements to assure higher levels of fan engagement.
FanDuel is in favor of encouraging safer gaming and responsible gaming (RG). The corporation will continue its efforts regarding RG in its new partnership with MLB in favor of this reality. Moreover, both businesses plan to promote increased advocacy and ethical awareness raising regarding the significance of responsible gaming.
