The Gambling Control Unit has produced the final regulations following a public hearing in January and a subsequent comment session, and it anticipates that they will be enacted in November 2023. Native American tribes in Maine were given control of the mobile and internet sports betting sector under the law signed by Democratic Governor Janet Mills.
