One of the world’s major online sportsbooks known as Legendz Sports has been closed by federal authorities. The online operation allegedly took in over $1 billion in wagers and 23 related businesses and 34 people have been indicted by the Justice Department. Legendz was originally run out of Costa Rica but recently moved its operations to Panama.
