Richard Glynn has been the Chief Executive Officer of Ladbrokes since 2010 and the partnership between the two hasn’t exactly been a popular one amongst the shareholders. Glynn has been accused of being a bad leader, making bad decisions and much more after the overall profits and revenues of Ladbrokes has declined almost ever since he came into his post.
Now Ladbrokes has begun the search for a new CEO to take over for Glynn, who is stepping down from his position in April of 2015. It is expected by many that they will be on the look externally and not internally, due to some massive changes needed in the structure and framework to change things around.
Ladbrokes is expected to find a person who will continue to focus on the online markets and boost revenues and profits there, rather than focusing on the betting shops around the world. New markets will be targeted as well as making growth in countries with regulations.
