Kansas players wagered nearly $291 million on sports in November, according to the Kansas Lottery’s latest report. Online wagers accounted for $279 million of the total, while retail betting contributed close to $12 million. This is a slight increase over October’s figures of $275.9 million.
Operators in Kansas generated $25.5 million in revenue during November. The state also benefited from the activity, collecting over $2.5 million in tax payments for the month.
Hollywood Casino led retail betting, partnering with Barstool and ESPN Bet to collect $9.1 million in wagers at its physical location. Other strong retail performers included FanDuel at Kansas Star, with $1.5 million in bets, and Caesars at Kansas Cross, which reported more than $700,000 in wagers.
On the online side, DraftKings dominated, accepting nearly $128 million in wagers in partnership with Boot Hill. FanDuel followed with $86.5 million in online bets, while BetMGM rounded out the top three with $26.2 million. These operators continue to drive the bulk of the state’s sports betting handle.
For the year, Kansas has seen $1.08 billion in total sports betting handle. Operators have earned over $64.5 million in revenue, and the state has collected more than $6.4 million in taxes so far this fiscal year.
While Kansas allows mobile sports betting, historic horseracing (HHR) facilities remain barred from hosting sportsbooks on-site. However, these venues can partner with online platforms to offer sports betting through mobile apps.
