Professional golfer Justin Thomas, a two-time PGA Championship winner, has forged a partnership agreement with Fanatics Sportsbook, just in time for the Championship held in his home state of Kentucky, beginning May 16.

In his role as the inaugural sports betting partner of Fanatics Sportsbook, Thomas will play a pivotal role in promoting product enhancements, generating social media content, and engaging with the broader Fanatics community throughout the next year.

Expressing his enthusiasm for the collaboration, Thomas stated, “I am excited to be the first official partner of the Fanatics Sportsbook. Whether it’s football, basketball, or golf, I’m a big sports fan. So I’m looking forward to getting involved in the world of Fanatics and engaging with their customers.”

Enhancements in Golf Betting Experience

This partnership follows Fanatics Sportsbook’s efforts to elevate its golf betting offerings. The platform has introduced features such as data visualization, an odds factory, and live streaming of par three holes directly within the app, aiming to provide golf enthusiasts with a more immersive and transparent betting experience.

Fanatics Betting and Gaming CBO Ari Borod emphasized Thomas’s significance in the sport, stating, “Justin Thomas is one of the biggest names in golf and an amazing ambassador for the game. With him coming home to Kentucky to try to win his third PGA Championship, the Fanatics family couldn’t be more excited to partner with him.”

During the PGA Championship, Fanatics Sportsbook will roll out a special promotion called “FanCash for Birdies.” Customers who opt in and place qualifying wagers on any golfer to win the Championship outright will earn FanCash for every birdie recorded by the golfer they bet on in round one of the event.

Fanatics Sportsbook initially launched its app in Kentucky on September 28, 2023, coinciding with the legalization of mobile sports betting in the state. Since then, the platform has expanded its operations to New Jersey and Illinois, aiming to provide an engaging and comprehensive sports betting experience to enthusiasts nationwide.
