In a historic partnership with the National Hockey League (NHL), Fanatics has unveiled its first player jerseys that it created itself for the 2024–2025 campaign. In their collaboration, which started in 2018 with the creation of training equipment for NHL players and coaching staff, this revelation represents a critical turning point.
SP Apparel in Quebec will manufacture the Fanatics Authentic Pro NHL on-ice uniforms, leveraging their 50 years of expertise in crafting such attire. This new phase of collaboration underscores Fanatics’ commitment to enhancing on-ice performance through cutting-edge design and quality manufacturing.
The updated uniforms feature subtle design improvements, including additional fabric in the lower sleeves, enhanced shoulder materials, and a new NHL Shield embroidered on the front neckline. Notably, Fanatics’ logo will now adorn the back neck of the jerseys, signifying their role as the NHL’s official uniform provider for the next decade.
Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin expressed pride in the collaboration, stating, “I couldn’t be prouder to unveil the first-ever Fanatics branded NHL uniforms. These jerseys were meticulously crafted in lockstep with NHL players, the NHLPA, equipment managers, teams and the NHL.”
NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman emphasized the significance of maintaining uniform quality and tradition: “NHL uniforms are considered by many to be the best in sports, and the history, tradition, and respect that goes with our NHL sweaters is paramount to both the NHL and Fanatics.”
