Drake Loses $800K Betting on Game 6 of NBA Finals, Says He Is Not Addicted

Canadian rapper Drake is once again in the spotlight for his high-stakes betting habits. Ahead of the decisive Game 7 of the NBA Finals, he revealed on Instagram that he had lost $800,000 wagering on Game 6 between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Indiana Pacers. The game ended with a lopsided 108-91 loss for the Thunder, leaving Drake’s bets in the red.

Shortly after the loss, Drake shared an Instagram story saying, “Gotta share the other side of gambling … Losses are so fried right now.” He also mentioned that while others regularly post huge wins, he has “never seen a Max,” suggesting he is overdue for a major payout.

Screenshots from his account at Stake showed staggering totals—over $125 million wagered and more than $8.2 million in losses. He followed up with another story, this time a video captioned ,“When I realized that gambling addiction is a lie made up by platforms like Stake to prevent you from winning their money.”
