Boyd Gaming Corporation has unveiled its newly built sportsbook at Suncoast Hotel & Casino in west Las Vegas. This state-of-the-art venue marks a significant milestone in the property’s ongoing renovation and opened just in time for the highly anticipated football season.
The sportsbook, replacing the former Suncoast Showroom, features an impressive 15.5-foot tall wrap-around LED video wall spanning 1,700 square feet. With deco-inspired booths, lounge seating, and a stylish 18-seat bar, the space offers a premier viewing experience for sports fans. Boyd Gaming executives celebrated the grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, a first ceremonial bet, and an exclusive tour of the facility.
To celebrate the launch, the first 200 guests who placed a bet on opening day received a branded water bottle. On Saturday, September 7, the first 200 bettors wagering $50 or more will receive a branded sports towel. Additionally, special guest Steph MacKenzie will broadcast live from the casino every Sunday during football season for 97.1 The Point, adding excitement to the weekly events.
Steve Schutte, Boyd’s executive vice president of operations, expressed the company’s vision for the renovation: “Today’s grand opening of the new Suncoast Sportsbook showcases our continued commitment to provide an enhanced gaming experience for our customers and neighbors near Summerlin, and the entire northwest Las Vegas community.”
The sportsbook launch is part of a larger transformation at Suncoast. Future enhancements include a new bingo room, expanded meeting spaces, a modernized bowling center, a fresh food hall concept, and a remodel of the casino floor. These updates promise to further elevate the guest experience at the popular west Las Vegas destination.
