With the recent completion of a $15 million strategic equity fundraising round, microbetting provider Betr strengthened its position in the industry. With this new investment, Betr has successfully raised an astounding $100 million in total cash since its founding in 2022.

Investor trust in Betr’s development potential is demonstrated by the newest fundraising round, which is co-led by venture capital companies Harmony Partners and 10x Capital. Notably, the round included participation from longtime investors Roger Ehrenberg/Eberg Capital, Fuel Venture Capital, and Aliya Capital Partners, all of whom reaffirmed their support to the company’s mission.

“We believe that Betr has the product, management, and market opportunity that we saw in DraftKings in its early days with a significantly larger TAM and room for growth today,” commented David Weisburd, co-founder and Head of Venture Capital at 10x Capital.

Expansion Plans and Market Access

Betr, which is jointly owned by social media celebrity Jake Paul and CEO Joey Levy, is leveraging its most recent fundraising round to broaden its customer base. The firm just obtained a temporary gambling license in Indiana from the Gaming Commission for its sports wagering product, Betr Sportsbook.

Betr Sportsbook remains committed to growing its presence in the US, having already secured market access in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia, Colorado, and Kentucky. Furthermore, in order to better meet the changing demands of the industry, Betr intends to broaden its product line by launching an iGaming product, subject to regulatory permission.
