BetMGM has achieved significant recognition, winning Sports Betting Operator of the Year and Employer of the Year at the EGR North America Awards 2024. The prestigious event, celebrating excellence in the North American online gaming industry, took place in New York City on June 27.

The Sports Betting Operator of the Year award honors the operator that has brought innovation to the sports betting sector, provided a “high-quality player experience,” and demonstrated “evidence of real growth” via mobile and web over the last 12 months. BetMGM was recognized for its innovative strategies, including strategic partnerships with X and Marriott Bonvoy, and leveraging omnichannel synergies during Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas. Additionally, Entain’s acquisition of sports pricing and analytics firm Angstrom in 2023 expanded BetMGM’s betting library, enhancing their product offering.
The Employer of the Year award highlights an operator’s dedication to organizational improvement through investment in recruitment, personal and skills development, and employee motivation. BetMGM has also been recognized as one of this year’s Best Workplaces in New York by Great Place To Work and Fortune. This accolade underscores BetMGM’s commitment to attracting and retaining top talent in the growing iGaming and sports betting industry.
