Donated 20 Million Dogecoin instead of 2 million, much wow such generous

Alex Green, founder of the Moolah.io payments platform is a generous man, maybe a little too generous if you ask him today. Green accepted to donate 2 million dogecoins towards the fundraiser of “Doge4Nascar”, which aims to sponsor Josh Wise’s Nascar and allow him to drive around with doge on his car.

Green was donating the dogecoins to the fundraiser while being hung-over and accidentally added an extra zero, so he donated 20 million dogecoins instead of 2 millions, which is equal to around $13,500. Green quickly blamed his keyboard for the mistake on Reddit, but decided to stand by his mistake.

“Anybody care to match me? The first person to match at least 10% will receive a hot pass to Talladega” Green wrote in his post. If the total donations reach 67.5 million dogecoins, the community hopes that it is enough to sponsor the car and allow Wise to compete in the Sprint Cup Series.

It is not the first time that the dogecoin community are being generous and helping out people in need, as they have raised money for drilling wells in Kenya under the name “Doge4Water”,  raised funds for training puppies that can grow up with kids and help them further in life under the “Doge4Kids” name and also helped the Jamaican bobsleigh team go to the winter Olympics in Sochi.
