Suriname is actively exploring the integration of Bitcoin into its economy, led by President Chan Santokhi's recent engagement with JAN3, a prominent Bitcoin firm in the country. In a significant meeting with JAN3's CEO, Samson Mow, President Santokhi delved into how Bitcoin could play a pivotal role in diversifying Suriname's economic landscape. This initiative, part of Suriname's wider economic diversification efforts, was initiated by Minister of Foreign Affairs Albert Ramdin.
