This joint venture has a sizable starting capital of one million Singapore Dollars, or around $733,000. Startale keeps the remaining 10% of the company's ownership while Sony obtains a commanding 90% interest. This action, which comes after Sony's earlier $3.5 million investment in Startale, solidifies their commitment to the partnership. Sota Watanabe, CEO of Startale, commented on the collaboration through Twitter and expressed his opinion that the next Sony blockchain may surpass Coinbase's Base blockchain. According to a Dune dashboard report, this Ethereum scaling network created headlines upon its introduction, claiming over 145,000 daily active users. They are the brains of the Astar Network, which developed as a smart contract platform for cryptocurrency applications and created the ASTR token, and the Polkadot parachain.
