Kennedy emphasized, “If I become president, I will ensure your right to possess and utilize Bitcoin remains unassailable. The first thing I’ll do is to safeguard the right to self-custody of Bitcoin and other digital assets. Ownership of your private keys should be as straightforward as having the keys to your car or your wallet.”
He expressed his firm belief that individuals should have complete control over their wallets, be they physical or digital, without the government demanding access to their Bitcoin keys or any of their passwords.
