Consensys has introduced the MetaMask Delegation Toolkit at the EthCC conference, aiming to simplify decentralized app development and enhance user engagement in the Web3 space.
The new toolkit by Consensys, revealed at EthCC, is set to streamline the creation of decentralized applications (DApps) and protocols, offering fresh user experiences. According to a press release, the toolkit addresses the disconnect between public perception and the potential of Web3 by reducing repetitive user actions and minimizing direct interactions with Web3 infrastructure.
The MetaMask Delegation Toolkit simplifies user onboarding by eliminating the need for extensions or application downloads. It also removes the necessity for seed phrase management, making the process more user-friendly. The toolkit aims to “eliminate user friction completely,” removing pop-ups and constant confirmations to ensure smoother interactions.
Additionally, the toolkit offers improved gas fee management, supporting “gasless transactions or postponed or reassigned gas costs,” according to the press release.
This toolkit is compatible with any Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) chain that supports a User Operation Bundler, including popular chains like Arbitrum, Avalanche, Base, Linea, Optimism, and Polygon.
