A Friday press release by the American-owned Haas F1 announced an alliance with the leading non-fungible token peer-to-peer marketplace, Opensea. Haas F1, currently the, only American owned team racing in the FIA Formula One World Championship, will be releasing its own NFT collection.
As the official NFT marketplace partner of the Formula 1 Racing team, Opensea plans to create a mix of branded NFTs in conjunction with the Haas F1 Team and other partners.
The racing team claims the program encourages increased interactivity among fans.
The company said in the statement that it is looking forward to releasing unique collections with Haas F1 and creating new opportunities for their community of fans to get closer to the action.
