eSports’ Skincoin Token To Be Launched To Buy And Sell Skins For Popular Games

Millions of gamers, to buy and sell skins for popular games like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Dota 2 or Team Fortress 2 would be able to use a single token called Skincoin, which is being developed by eSports industry’s team of developers.

It is estimated, that if the Skincoin token is used by 10% of the market users, the company would still be looking at $700 million turnovers.

Skin in online games refers to the visual appearance of heroes, items, weapons and other objects. All these kinds of add-ons without changing the characteristics make a unique character.

Initially, Steam was the first platform where skins were available, where a player could use it or change it with different skin from another player. Eventually, the third-party sites used skins as payment in other game.

Skins can be used as bets by players in cybersports or gambling, as offered by some websites. Skincoin is creating an instant exchange platform for liquid crypto assets that could be used for further turnover of skins at gaming websites, making Skincoin a universal cryptocurrency for online gaming services settlements.
