Nasdaq listed cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase (COIN) is introducing an addition to asset listings on its platform.
In a company blog post, Product Manager Oshan Wahi unveiled an “experimental” label which will be applied to either new assets or those with relatively low trading volumes. Wahi said:
“Our goal is to be as transparent as possible with our customers regarding trading risks.
We are introducing a new experimental label on asset pages and a disclosure when executing trades for some assets.”
Business will remain “as usual”, the exchange stressed. The new label will have no impact to users buying, selling, sending, receiving and holding crypto assets on Coinbase.
