The founder and CEO of Binance, Changpeng Zhao (CZ), recently expressed his opinions on the rising interest of major organizations, including BlackRock, in the cryptocurrency market. CZ emphasized his openness to them during a Twitter Spaces session, calling their entry “hugely beneficial” and highlighting the possibility for more coverage.
CZ gave a strong “no” in response to the question of whether these institutions may constitute a danger to businesses like Binance. He emphasized the advantages of having big organizations involved, saying that they serve a market that the sector is currently underserving. Changpeng Zhao thinks that by entering the market, they would increase the use of cryptocurrencies and stimulate innovation via healthy competition.
CZ noted the interest in joining the crypto area among several groups, including institutions and individuals. He was aware, though, that some of these players would not feel at ease using sites that only support cryptocurrencies, such as Binance.com. They could favor utilizing current connections with reputable heritage companies instead. Despite this, CZ is upbeat and sees the participation of these bigger institutions as a chance for development.

He emphasized that many of the attendees were from outside the United States and that the majority of Binance’s user base consisted of people who are unlikely to rely on services from organizations like BlackRock.
