Baidu Japan Inc. has created CryptoSimeji, which combines the iconic mushroom logo of the Japanese keyboard app Simeji as the IP prototype with kaomoji culture to produce the world’s first kaomoji avatar NFT project.
When the initiative was officially launched in August 2022, all 10,000 NFTs sold out within hours, resulting in a transaction volume of more than $1.1 million, a 166.68% gain. CryptoSimeji has had a significant influence on the NFT community in both Japan and other nations.
Furthermore, CryptoSimeji is Baidu Japan’s first foray into Web 3.0, providing a community established in collaboration with active users.
As CryptoSimeji expands and the brand’s metaverse blueprint is unveiled, committed users, holders, and supporters of the CryptoSimeji platform will be able to earn perks and holder advantages, as well as CS Points, by participating in Type2Earn activities with the Simeji keyboard. Whitelists and NFTs, as well as ether (ETH) and other cryptocurrencies, can be exchanged for CS Points.
