PENN Entertainment just added a new golf-themed title to its lineup with the launch of PGA TOUR Mines, now available through select platforms in New Jersey and Ontario. The release builds on PENN’s expanding collaboration with the PGA TOUR and continues the push to blend sports and online casino gaming.
Good to know
PGA TOUR Mines is the second branded game from PENN built around the PGA TOUR. Created by PENN Game Studios, the game takes a different approach from traditional card games. Players select tiles on a virtual grid, hoping to reveal wins while avoiding hidden mines. It includes PGA TOUR visuals, such as animated artwork and official branding, to give it a unique look and feel.
The game is currently available at Hollywood Casino for New Jersey users and at theScore Casino in Ontario. Hollywood Casino also operates in Pennsylvania and Michigan, but the new title has not yet been rolled out in those states.
Back in May, PENN introduced PGA TOUR Blackjack, which offered a classic table game experience with a few golf-inspired extras. Players could place themed side bets and use virtual cards branded with PGA TOUR imagery. That launch marked the first release under PENN’s long-term partnership with the PGA TOUR through ESPN BET.
The broader partnership links PGA content across multiple PENN platforms. That includes streaming PGA TOUR events through ESPN+ and offering game access via the ESPN BET and Hollywood Casino apps. As more games receive regulatory approval, the companies expect to launch additional titles under this partnership.
