A major turning point in the history of American sports betting will occur on November 14 when the eagerly awaited online sports betting platform ESPN BET officially launches.

Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia are among the 17 states that ESPN BET will cover. Notably, there was a slight hitch in the Massachusetts premiere when the local regulator asked PENN Entertainment, the company running the show, for further information.

A Disney-Backed Endeavor

The Walt Disney Corporation’s ESPN and PENN Entertainment, two of the industry’s most seasoned operators of gaming, have partnered to create the ground-breaking ESPN BET. This entry marks a new era of cooperation between sports media and sports betting, as well as ESPN’s entrance into the realm of sports betting.

ESPN is getting ready to launch a new ad campaign that highlights the seamless integration of the ESPN and ESPN BET apps and stars Scott Van Pelt, anchor of SportsCenter. The introduction of the sportsbook will be accompanied by a new ESPN BET Creative ad featuring SportsCenter anchor Elle Duncan.

In addition, starting on November 10, the well-liked ESPN Daily Wager show will change its name to ESPN BET Live. November 6 is when the last episode of Daily Wager is expected to air.

To commemorate the upcoming launch, ESPN is extending an invitation to fans to enter a sweepstakes. A unique trip to ESPN’s headquarters in Bristol, Connecticut, will be awarded to the lucky winners.

In PENN Entertainment’s Q3 report, president and CEO Jay Snowden offered some insights and hinted that ESPN BET will provide a plethora of well-liked betting possibilities. This offers a variety of thrilling options for sports fans, such as highlighted bets, rapid bets (micro-markets), player props, and same game parlays.

In the upcoming months, Snowden also alluded to more extensive platform and media integrations with ESPN, laying the groundwork for an unmatched and flawless media-betting experience that would enthrall sports fans all across the country.

ESPN BET just revealed its logo as excitement for the sportsbook’s debut grows. But it wasn’t immune to criticism; some pointed out resemblances to BroThrow’s emblem, which caused some controversy before of the big reveal.
