The 2024–2025 Responsible Gaming Report from PrizePicks highlights advancements in employee engagement, industry transparency, and player protection. CEO Mike Ybarra highlighted the company’s efforts in encouraging safer gaming while reflecting on its accomplishments.
“As we reflect on 2024, PrizePicks has made remarkable strides in setting a new standard for Responsible Gaming (RG) within the Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) industry,” Ybarra said. “This year, we’ve not only advanced player initiatives within the PrizePicks platform but have also taken meaningful steps to lead the industry toward a safer, more transparent gaming environment.”
PrizePicks strengthened its commitment to responsible gaming through a partnership with Kindbridge Behavioral Health. This collaboration provides clinical services to players and employees at no initial cost. The initiative supports problem gaming prevention, treatment, and recovery, with PrizePicks covering the initial expenses for support services.
PrizePicks also conducted an internal survey on responsible gaming, receiving a 50% response rate. Results showed that 88% of employees believe responsible gaming is essential to the industry’s long-term sustainability. Additionally, 82% recognized PrizePicks’ commitment to fostering a responsible gaming culture.
In September, the operator expanded its responsible gaming efforts by partnering with EPIC Global Solutions. This collaboration introduced new initiatives for employees and supported Responsible Gaming Education Month. PrizePicks described these partnerships as crucial steps in aligning with “forward-thinking” organizations.
Looking ahead, independent auditors will review PrizePicks’ responsible gaming tools and policies throughout 2025. This evaluation ensures the company meets the highest standards of transparency and accountability.
