Mike Ybarra has assumed the role of CEO of PrizePicks, a significant change in the company’s leadership that is effective immediately. Ybarra will also be joining the PrizePicks Board. Ybarra was the President of Blizzard Entertainment before. He succeeds Adam Wexler, the founder and former CEO of the company, who will now serve as Executive Chairman.

Ybarra’s new role at PrizePicks marks a pivotal moment for the company, which has evolved from a startup into a leading daily fantasy sports provider in North America since its founding in 2017. Ybarra has a long history. During a standout stint at Blizzard Entertainment, he oversaw the company’s growth accomplishments and profit and loss portfolio. His prior work experience at Microsoft, where he held executive positions in the Windows and Xbox divisions for almost 20 years, enhances his qualifications even more.
