By becoming an Official Partner of the playoff tournament, MGM Resorts International has secured a significant position in the forthcoming College Basketball Crown. Leading NCAA teams from the Big 10, Big 12, and Big East conferences will compete in this well-known event, which was started by FOX Sports and AEG Global Partnerships (AEG).
Both T-Mobile Arena and MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas will host games throughout the tournament, which runs from March 31 to April 6. With MGM Resorts’ first-rate hospitality offerings, AEG, which assisted in negotiating the arrangement, hopes to improve the tournament experience.
MGM Resorts will provide accommodations for participating teams at several of its renowned Las Vegas properties, including Aria Resort & Casino, Park MGM, and Vdara Hotel & Spa. The company’s involvement extends beyond lodging, as it will also receive prominent branding opportunities, including courtside signage, video board features, and national media exposure on FOX Sports channels broadcasting the event.
FOX Sports EVP and College Basketball Crown Board Member Jordan Bazant emphasized MGM Resorts’ natural fit for the tournament. “With student-athletes competing at MGM Grand Garden Arena and T-Mobile Arena, it is a natural fit for our teams to stay at the stunning MGM Resorts properties,” he stated. “The College Basketball Crown will provide student-athletes with an elite on-site experience while showcasing top-tier college hoops to millions.”
Additionally, MGM Resorts will work with Vivid Seats to create exclusive travel and ticket packages for fans attending the tournament.
On February 26, Circa Resort & Casino was announced as a Founding Partner and the official host hotel for the tournament. The property will accommodate all College Basketball Crown referees during the event.
