A significant statement was recently made by the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA), which welcomed KTO, a well-known Latin American sports betting business, into its fold. KTO’s participation strengthens the IBIA’s monitoring powers and broadens its worldwide reach as one of the top 10 online gaming enterprises in Brazil.
KTO’s admission to the IBIA is in line with a recently implemented interim rule in Brazil requiring all bookmakers to belong to an international integrity organization. Due to this trend, a large number of Brazilian operators are now applying for IBIA membership. Another Brazilian sports betting company, Galera.bet, only recently joined the group.
With the addition of KTO, the IBIA now includes over 125 sports betting brands and over 50 firms globally. Notably, more than 60% of the Brazilian market for online gambling is controlled by the present IBIA members. The IBIA is now better equipped to perform precise assessments and tenaciously combat betting fraud throughout Brazil and Latin America thanks to this crucial growth.
The IBIA detects and reports suspicious behavior inside regulated betting markets by utilizing cutting-edge anti-corruption techniques. The IBIA demands a rigorous due diligence procedure and adherence to its code of conduct in order to guarantee the trustworthiness of its members.
Jeff Tabone, the managing director of KTO, expressed delight for the company’s IBIA membership. The importance of this action for KTO as it works to sustain the highest integrity standards in Brazil was stressed by Tabone. He noted, “Trust has always been a cornerstone of the KTO brand, and joining the IBIA signifies our commitment to a safe and transparent environment for our customers and the wider industry.”
Khalid Ali, the IBIA’s CEO, was pleased with KTO’s relationship with his organization. Ali applauded KTO’s choice to join the integrity-monitoring organization, understanding that it may help the IBIA expand its influence in the Latin American market with a concentration on Brazil. Ali stated, “The association looks forward to working closely with KTO and welcomes the operator’s commitment to protecting its sports betting operations through IBIA’s world-leading integrity network.”
