As Inkabet gears up for its market launch later this month, the Peruvian sportsbook has unveiled a new partnership with Gaming Innovation Group (GiG). This collaboration will integrate Inkabet’s offerings with GiG’s platform, marking a significant step as Betsson’s Peruvian brand prepares for its debut.
Betsson acquired Inkabet in 2021, and the two companies are now extending their successful partnership across the Americas. With Inkabet recently receiving its operational license in Peru, this partnership aims to leverage GiG’s expertise in both the Peruvian and broader Latin American markets.
GiG, in turn, is capitalizing on this new collaboration as it rebrands its media division from GiG Media to Gentoo Media. This rebranding aligns with the upcoming spin-off that will see Gentoo become an independent entity in Q3 2024. This strategic move comes on the heels of GiG’s recent achievements, including securing sports betting licenses in Pennsylvania and Maryland in March and forming a platform partnership with Ventures Lab in June to enhance operations in Ontario.
