Betr Holdings (Betr) has introduced its latest innovation, Group Mode, along with a soft launch of its new Betr sportsbook, just in time for the NFL season. The launch of Group Mode and the new sportsbook marks a significant milestone for Betr, reflecting its commitment to expanding its offerings in the sports betting and fantasy sports markets.
Group Mode, a new feature for Betr Picks, enables users to engage in peer-to-peer competition within its fantasy sports pick ’em product. This innovation allows participants to compete directly against each other, enhancing the interactive experience of the platform. Betr Picks is now operational in Florida and Massachusetts, with plans to expand into Virginia, Arizona, Tennessee, Missouri, Alabama, West Virginia, New Hampshire, and Delaware shortly.
Joey Levy, Betr’s Founder and CEO, expressed his enthusiasm about these developments. “We are thrilled to launch Group Mode for Betr Picks and to soft launch the new Betr sportsbook. Today’s two product launches represent an important inflection point for Betr,” Levy stated. He highlighted the broader availability of Betr Picks, now reaching 65% of the U.S. population, which opens the platform to millions of new sports fans. He also noted that the new sportsbook positions Betr to significantly advance in the competitive online sports betting sector.
The Betr sportsbook, currently in a soft launch phase in Ohio and Virginia, will soon be available in Indiana and Maryland, pending regulatory approval. This sportsbook will offer a range of betting options, including Same Game Parlays (SGP), Same Game Parlays Plus (SGP+), player props, futures, exotics, and traditional markets such as moneyline, point spread, and over/unders.
Looking ahead, Levy emphasized that further product improvements are on the horizon. “Significant product improvements are on the way across both Picks and sportsbook but we are proud of the quick progress we have made here,” he said.
