Spotlight Sports Group (SSG), a global leader in technology, content, and media, has announced a new two-year relationship with bet365, which will see the top bookmaker become the title sponsor of the Racing Post show Upping the Ante for the fourth and fifth consecutive seasons.
The new deal will see bet365 sponsor 21 weekly presentations that will provide an informed ante-post view of the Cheltenham Festival, as well as a dedicated Cheltenham Festival preview special. Sponsorship of The Big Jump Off, Racing Post’s ultimate preview of the 2022-23 jumps season, is also part of the video agreement.
With high levels of involvement this year, Upping the Ante has become the #1 YouTube program for audience engagement among racing lovers. It has also routinely rated as the most-watched pre-Cheltenham Festival show, with total show views increasing by more than 40% year on year.
David Jennings will host the newest edition of Upping the Ante, which will be joined by veteran punter Johnny Dineen. Dineen, a former bookmaker with his own betting ring at Cheltenham, is considered as one of Ireland’s most adept judges.
