Sportradar to Continue as Bundesliga Global Partner Until 2032

Share

Bundesliga International, a branch of DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga, has renewed its partnership with Sportradar, a leading sports technology firm, for an additional six years, extending their collaboration beyond a quarter of a century. This new agreement ensures Sportradar will remain a key global partner for the league until the end of the 2031-2032 soccer season.

Under this extended deal, Sportradar will keep offering innovative data and audiovisual products to fans and bettors worldwide, enhancing the overall experience. The company retains its status as the official provider for the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2’s betting and streaming rights outside the DACH region, including the German Supercup and relegation playoff matches each season.

The partnership allows Sportradar to sublicense video content from Germany’s top soccer divisions to its clients, collect and distribute live match data exclusively for betting purposes, and manage betting and streaming rights for all matches in the WOW Virtual Bundesliga. It also enables the expansion of Virtual Sports Bundesliga offerings.

Additionally, Sportradar and Bundesliga will join forces to fight match-fixing, employing education and prevention services to safeguard the integrity of the games.

Moritz Gloeckler of Sportradar expressed enthusiasm for continuing the collaboration, emphasizing the mutual commitment to leveraging technology for fan benefit. “This agreement aligns with our broader strategy to selectively invest in long-term rights across key global sports which enable the continued innovation and enhancement of our offerings for our clients,” Gloeckler stated.

Peer Naubert from Bundesliga highlighted the partnership’s focus on innovation and technology to improve fan experiences. “From the start, we have been aligned in pushing the boundaries of technology for the benefit of the fan, and this early prolongation, which by the end will take us to more than 25 years of collaboration, is an outcome of the trust and excitement we share for the future,” Naubert said.
