Attendees will vote on approving the union’s statutes, defining its scope, establishing the fiscal council, and selecting an official headquarters. They will also decide on the exact category of representation and how the union will be funded.

Organizers plan to follow all required legal steps. This includes counting and validating votes, confirming candidate eligibility, and recording any blank or null votes.

The push to build Sindibets/SP comes amid broader efforts across Brazil to organize the growing betting sector. With new national regulations rolling out, many private operators are seeking more formal representation, both at the federal and state level.

Participation in the union’s creation is limited to companies that can prove they operate within São Paulo. The move is part of a wider shift toward structured governance in Brazil’s betting market, which has been expanding rapidly.
