Negotiations between the tribe and the government started when Kansas legalized sports betting in September 2022 and ended in April 2023, when the agreement was eventually ratified. All obstacles appear to have been cleared after a three-month wait for the final permission.
The sports betting services will be introduced by casino officials in the fourth quarter of 2023. Bettors are hopeful that sports betting will be accessible as early as September, though the precise date has not yet been determined. Customers of Prairie Band will first be allowed to wager there.
