Polymarket has signed its first team-level agreement since becoming the exclusive prediction market partner of Major League Baseball. The New York Yankees deal gives the platform advertising space inside Yankee Stadium and access to one of the largest audiences in US sport.
Good to Know
Polymarket will serve as the official prediction market partner of the New York Yankees. Financial terms remain private.
The agreement builds on the MLB and Polymarket partnership announced in March 2026. Polymarket had considered agreements with other clubs before choosing the Yankees for its first direct MLB team deal.
“We are proud to become a partner of one of the most iconic teams, not just in baseball, but in all of sports,” said Ari Borod, president of sports business development at Polymarket. “Yankees fans are among the most passionate in sports, and Yankee Stadium is a natural home for Polymarket, where the questions driving our markets come to life throughout the season.”
Branding will appear on LED displays around Yankee Stadium and on rotating digital boards behind home plate. The home-plate ads will also reach viewers through YES Network and Amazon Prime broadcasts.
Polymarket will also run fan activities, including Kids Run the Bases, an outfield catch for children and lineup card delivery. Ticket promotions will cover Ford Field MVP Club seats, single-game tickets and luxury suites.
“We are excited to begin a relationship with Polymarket – Major League Baseball’s prediction market partner,” said Michael Tusiani, New York Yankees senior vice president of partnerships. “Through signage and fan experience opportunities, we look forward to elevating Polymarket’s brand awareness both at Yankee Stadium and across our fan base.”
The commercial reach goes beyond stadium advertising. ESPN data listed the Yankees third in MLB attendance in early August, with more than 1.75 million fans across 43 home dates and an average crowd above 40,000.
Polymarket also gains exposure at a time when prediction market operators are spending heavily on US sports partnerships. The New York Mets recently named Novig as a team partner, making the Yankees agreement the second direct link between an MLB club and a prediction market operator.
Meanwhile, Polymarket reportedly entered early talks to raise about $1 billion at a valuation above $20 billion. The reported target follows an April funding round that valued the company at $15 billion.
