Midnite will appear on the front of Middlesbrough shirts during the 2026/27 campaign as the club celebrates 150 years. The UK betting brand introduced the partnership through a supporter event at Riverside Stadium.

Good to Know

  • Midnite becomes the Middlesbrough principal partner.
  • The agreement covers the 2026/27 anniversary campaign.
  • Fans won season tickets, shirts, match tickets and shop vouchers.

Midnite Opens Deal With Fan Rewards

Rather than begin with a standard sponsorship launch, Midnite invited supporters to Riverside Stadium on July 9 for football challenges and Middlesbrough trivia.

Successful participants received prizes including 2026/27 season tickets. Other rewards included club shirts, match tickets and £25 shop vouchers.

Former Middlesbrough players Craig Hignett and David Wheater also attended. Fans who failed a challenge received another chance when either former player attempted it on their behalf.

The event continued a fan-focused marketing strategy that Midnite previously used with Sheffield United and the World Snooker Tour.

“Middlesbrough have a storied history and we’re delighted to announce this partnership during such a monumental year with the club celebrating their 150th anniversary,” Midnite Head of Brand Marketing Andrew Mook said.

“We can’t wait to get to Riverside Stadium in August to kick-off a new season and we’re excited to say that we have plenty of new and captivating campaigns planned.”

The agreement gives Midnite its main branding position on Middlesbrough match shirts throughout the anniversary campaign. Both parties also plan supporter content and further stadium activations.

“We’re delighted to welcome Midnite as our new Principal Partner,” Middlesbrough Chief Commercial Officer Lee Fryett said.

“We’re confident this partnership will provide real value for our supporters while supporting our ambitions both on and off the pitch.”
