A stunning limited-edition Stealth Mode livery concept has been unveiled by McLaren Racing and OKX, the famous Web3 technology firm and the McLaren Formula 1 Team’s Official Primary Partner. The 2023 Singapore Grand Prix (15–17 September) and the 2023 Japanese Grand Prix (22–24 September) will have McLaren MCL60 F1 cars with this eye-catching appearance.
The Stealth Mode livery, which was developed in conjunction with McLaren, promises to be a visual spectacular. It will change McLaren’s recognizable livery color scheme by adding a striking black tone that goes well with the team’s recognizable papaya trim. This design’s aesthetics perfectly encapsulate the spirit of both companies, highlighting their mutual dedication to unrelenting effort, quality, and a readiness to adapt to change and innovation.
On September 13, during a private media meeting at the Fullerton Bay Hotel’s Lantern in Singapore, the MCL60 in Stealth Mode was officially unveiled. Haider Rafique, the chief marketing officer of OKX, the McLaren F1 Team’s Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, and the executive director of partnerships for McLaren Racing were all present at this renowned event.
In order to give fans the chance to experience the Stealth Mode idea up close and personal, OKX will organize a McLaren-themed fan area dubbed the OKX Race Club at Chijmes, Singapore. The OKX Race Club, which will be open from September 14 to September 17, offers a variety of entertaining events, including a display of the Stealth Mode show vehicle, racing simulators, special giveaways, and unexpected guest appearances during the race weekend. On September 14, at 14:00 SGT, the OKX Race Club will formally launch, with complimentary tickets available for interested visitors.
Zak Brown, CEO of McLaren Racing, expressed his excitement about the evolving partnership with OKX, emphasizing the creativity behind the Stealth Mode livery. He stated, “Stealth Mode flips our race car’s colors, bringing something exciting and different to these two great races in Singapore and Japan. We hope fans will love it as much as we do and get a chance to enjoy the fan zone to connect with our team.”
Haider Rafique, Chief Marketing Officer at OKX, highlighted the shared values that inspired Stealth Mode. He said, “Success on the track, and in the Web3 world, is only possible through teamwork, creativity, and innovation. Stealth Mode is inspired by these common principles.”
The partnership between McLaren Racing and OKX, which will see the Stealth Mode design race on the track, highlights how innovation, technology, and the thrilling Formula 1 world are all intertwined.
