NFL fans will soon have a fresh way to connect with the game. Reporter Jordan Schultz, the son of billionaire Starbucks founder Howard Schultz is building out his own media channel, teaming up with Fanatics Sportsbook to deliver weekly shows, betting insights, and closer access to the players shaping the 2025–2026 season.
Good to know
Schultz has covered the NFL across traditional media for years, but now he’s bringing his storytelling to YouTube. He explained his vision clearly:
“The move from broadcast to YouTube gives me the opportunity to build something truly different and to dive deeper into the stories of the people on the field and sidelines. My goal is to bring fans closer to the game, bridging the gap between the locker room and their living room and better connecting them to the players we love.”
The shift means fans will not only hear the news but also get the inside stories directly from Schultz’s perspective.
The deal with Fanatics takes Schultz’s work a step further. Alongside Draymond Green, he will provide weekly NFL picks throughout the season, made exclusively available to users on Fanatics Sportsbook. It’s a natural tie-in, combining analysis with real-time betting access for fans.
Selena Kalvaria, CMO of Fanatics Betting and Gaming, summed up the partnership:
“We are excited to partner with Jordan Schultz as he expands his media properties and launches the second season of his podcast with Draymond Green. Jordan is a fountain of NFL knowledge and audiences will now have more ways to engage with him to hear him break down the news of the day, including his weekly picks on Fanatics Sportsbook.”
The Jordan Schultz Media Channel will roll out a mix of shows, offering behind-the-scenes conversations with players, commentary on breaking stories, and crossover episodes with Green that connect basketball and football. The aim is to create content that feels personal, giving viewers a seat closer to the locker room.
