Investigation into Alleged Sports Betting by Iowa State Players Still Ongoing

The Iowa State football team, led by head coach Matt Campbell, is waiting for the results of an investigation into alleged sports betting by some of its players. Both Iowa and Iowa State stated in May that their athletes had allegedly participated in NCAA-prohibited online sports bets. Iowa State specifically said that there were approximately 15 active athletes engaged, with at least one football player among them.
