Flashscore has kicked off the 2025/26 football season with a wave of product upgrades aimed at making the app faster, smarter, and more useful for fans around the world.
Good to Know
The revamp started earlier this year with a fresh approach to match previews, first tested during the FIFA Club World Cup. The new format now runs across global competitions, offering cleaner sections that highlight form, head-to-head stats, betting angles, streaks, and injury news. A visual win probability display helps fans see each team’s chances instantly.
To reach its global audience, Flashscore translates every editorial preview into up to 11 languages. Fourteen additional competitions now benefit from automated AI-generated previews, with refinements planned for the second half of 2025 to ensure accuracy and consistency across both human and AI-driven content.
Video is also playing a bigger role. Flashscore has upgraded its preview clips to visualize key data and bring statistical analysis to life, giving fans more dynamic ways to prepare for matches.
Tomáš Pondělík, Chief Product Officer at Livesport/Flashscore, explained the strategy:
“We regularly conduct comprehensive user research to understand not just what our fans need today, but what they’ll want tomorrow. This insight-driven methodology has guided every feature we’ve launched in 2025, from our new-look match previews to enhanced statistical services and predicted lineups.”
He added:
“We’re shifting our focus towards pre-kickoff and in-play state of the game as we want to be delivering all the important information as they happen, while creating the ultimate user experience across live scores, news, and statistics.”
Fans can expect even more soon. Flashscore has confirmed that its most exciting new feature will be revealed in September, just in time for SBC Lisbon, reflecting the new ways supporters engage with football content.
