FanDuel rolled out new MLB betting products ahead of the 2026 opener between the New York Yankees and San Fracisco Giants. The focus is clear: more home run betting, faster betting tools, and cleaner player prop rules.
Good to Know
Before the first pitch of the new season, FanDuel tied its MLB update to the part of the sport that draws the most betting interest. Daily Dinger lets users pick one player each day to hit a home run. If that player goes deep, the user gets a profit boost token for the next day.
Another new option, Lazer markets, lets bettors wager on home runs hit at 110+ mph exit velocity. FanDuel also added a dynamic multi-homer grid across the full slate of games.
“FanDuel is the Home of the Home Run because we’ve purpose-built our MLB product around the most exciting and popular part of the game,” Karol Corcoran, managing director of FanDuel Sportsbook, said. “From new home run-specific markets to free-to-play experiences like Daily Dinger, these updates bring that vision to life. We are intentionally giving customers more ways to engage and greater confidence in their bets.”
The operator also rebuilt part of its MLB app layout. Real-time batting lineups, star player grids, recent form, trends, and player game logs now sit closer to the betting flow. FanDuel said bet settlements will also come faster, with broader same-game parlay options across core markets.
Away from product design, house rules changed too. A player prop now only activates if the player is in the starting lineup and gets a plate appearance.
For futures bettors, FanDuel opened the season with the Los Angeles Dodgers at +200 to win the World Series, the shortest MLB title odds since the 2003 Yankees.
