PENN Entertainment and the National Hockey League (NHL) have joined forces, making PENN’s ESPN BET in the U.S. and theScore Bet in Ontario the NHL’s Official Sports Betting Partners. This collaboration grants ESPN BET and theScore Bet special rights, including access to the NHL’s intellectual property and integration into league programming and experiences.
Launched on November 14 in 17 states, and breaking records for most downloaded app, ESPN BET is a new online sportsbook from PENN Entertainment. It merges ESPN’s well-known brand and widespread platform with PENN Entertainment’s in-house technology and sportsbook expertise.
This partnership covers various NHL events, including the regular season, Stanley Cup Playoffs, 2024 NHL Winter Classic, 2024 NHL Stadium Series, and the 2024 NHL All-Star Weekend. It also involves collaboration to ensure top-notch game integrity.
